Our Fees

We are a contracted provider to Pegasus Health (Charitable) Limited, Primary Health Organisation (PHO).  Patients who are enrolled with our practice will be eligible for Ministry of Health subsidised consultation fees.

If you are not enrolled as a patient at Ilam Medical then you are are Casual patient.  Casual patients do not qualify for the full Ministry of Health subsidies, therefore higher consultation fees will apply.   Payment prior to consultation is required for Casual patients.

Consultation fees vary depending on your age, entitlement to subsidies and the different services we provide.

*Please note [CSC] refers the Community Services Card. Contact Ministry of Social Development for more information.  The reduced fee consultation fee for CSC card holders  applies to a standard single appointment only.  Double appointments will incur the standard double appointment fee

If you are a Non New Zealand citizen and are not eligible to enrol, full fees will apply.

Payment

Payment is due on the day of consultation. If you are unable to pay please talk to your Doctor or the reception team. In some instances we may agree to a regular payment plan option. If no agreement for delayed payment is in place then penalty fees for non payment will apply.

Please note that payment is required prior to consultation for all first time and Casual patients.
